What does “no double billing” mean? There are two connections during a call diversion, an inbound call direct to your RingCentral number and an outbound connection to the phone used to answer it. In other companies, these connections are charged separately and you can also be charged twice their advertised rate per minute (/min). For example, a company that charges 2.5p/min can actually charge you 5p/min of talk time for a 10-minute conversation. RingCentral only charges you for one minute of a connected domestic call. RingCentral Business Power plan subscribers will only pay 25p for a 10-minute conversation. No hidden charges! How many numbers can I divert calls to? Calls can be diverted to as many as 10 numbers with the FindMe call diversion feature. You can also have your phones ring all at once or in a fixed order; so if you divert a call to a member of your sales team and they don't pick up, the call will be automatically diverted to the next person or department. Through your online account, you can simply change numbers at any time. Plus, if you need your calls diverted to a new number, you can just activate FollowMe priority call diversion by phone and punch in the new number. This setting will bypass your FindMe settings temporarily—by calling your number and turning off FollowMe, you can easily switch back to your previous setting. What is the difference between FindMe and FollowMe and how do they work? Both FindMe and FollowMe are advanced call routing features. One distinct difference between the two is that FollowMe is a single-number call diversion service while FindMe is a multi-number locating service. The FindMe feature allows callers to locate you more easily because they will be routed to multiple people (your sales team, for example) on a rotating basis. By using your online account, you can input all the numbers that you’d like to receive calls on—your mobile, your office number or your employees’ phones. You may choose to type one or even as many as 10 numbers. If you enter more than one number, you can have all numbers ring in a specific order or simultaneously. FollowMe priority call diversion is a single-number call diversion service. That means this feature will bypass your FindMe profile and route all your calls to a single phone number. Can RingCentral divert my calls to a VoIP account? With RingCentral, you can divert calls to a VoIP account only if your carrier provides you with a direct dial phone number. What will callers experience? When a caller dials your number (and extension), they will hear your professional business greeting and an auto-receptionist will ask them to hold while you are being located. The IVR auto- receptionist can also be set up to ask callers for their name, which is relayed to you by phone or through your speakers if you’re online. Can I divert calls to international numbers?
