How long are my records of calls and faxes stored in my account?
When you dial out using your RingCentral number or when someone dials your RingCentral number, the transaction will be stored in your online account indefinitely. Every transaction made is date- and-time stamped. All complete records (the actual voicemail and/or fax sent to you) in your account are available and accessible for 30 days.
What kind of information is logged?
Call logs give you information on the type of transaction (call, fax, etc.), activity (missed, etc), length, date and time of the transaction.
Where are my faxes and voicemail stored?
These transactions are stored for an unlimited time, up to 200 message, in your online account. All your messages will also be stored indefinitely in your Call Controller inbox. If you want storage for a longer period of time, you can have them sent in your email account.
How can I use call logs for cost analysis?
Call logs give you information on the type of transaction, activity, length, date and time of the transaction. This information can be downloaded from your main number and extensions to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet for cost analysis.
