Can I record custom greetings? Yes, you can. You are provided with several greetings for every extension to welcome, direct and inform your callers. Greetings include a master/directory greeting and individual welcome and voicemail greetings, which all have default settings so you can use your account right away. By phone or through your online account, you can easily change greetings. You can also record and store as many as you like. To project a professional image to your clients, you can even have your greetings professionally recorded and uploaded in a .wav format to your account. How can I check my voicemail? You can check your voicemail in multiple ways. Through your online account, just log in and select the option that allows voicemail to be sent in your email address. So when someone leaves a voicemail for you, you will be able to receive it as a .wav file attachment in your email. Then you can just open the file to hear the message over your speakers. For 30 days, voicemail messages will be stored in your online account. These messages can be accessed through any web browser. From your phone, you can check your voicemail by dialing your RingCentral number and accessing administrator options. When you dial your number, an auto-receptionist will update you on any new messages and will play the voicemail. Can I receive faxes with my RingCentral number? Yes. All RingCentral accounts contain send-and-receive fax capabilities. You can receive multiple faxes at once even when you’re on the phone. And similar to your voicemail, your fax messages enter your online account, email, or desktop call controller application. Not to mention, you can send faxes to any fax machine in the world with just a few clicks of the mouse. Can I forward voicemail to other people? Yes, you can. If you receive a voicemail message in your email inbox, just forward it to whomever you like. It’s like forwarding and email. In addition, you can forward voicemail that’s stored in your online account. How can I instantly reply to voicemail using my phone and/or computer? If someone leaves you a voicemail, you will be alerted by a text message on your cell phone. To listen to the message, just dial into your account. After listening, the auto-receptionist will ask you whether you want to reply to the message or not. If you want to reply, simply press a number on your phone so you could be automatically connected to the caller. You can also reply to your callers from your computer. Every call and fax you receive are stored into your online account. All phone numbers in your account have active links. Click on the link and you’ll activate RingOut click-to-call dialing. This feature will ring the phone you’re currently using and connect you to the person you want to reach. How many voice and fax messages can I store in my online account? Voice and Fax messages combined, you can store up to 100 messages in your RingCentral inbox. If you receive a large number of messages per day, you may configure your account so that your messages are sent to you in email only, and not to you online account. This will prevent the possibility of having a full mailbox. How many mailboxes are included with my RingCentral number? Up to 99 mailboxes can be added to your account. |
