Using RingCentral Internet Fax Service

With RingCentral Internet Fax, you will be able to produce and send professional faxes and broadcast them to people in and out of your country. You can also block junk faxes, create our own custom cover page, electronically sign faxes and attach documents. Each extension will have its own fax capabilities.

Sending Faxes
Faxes can be sent by email or through your online account, Microsoft applications and even through your smart phone. Incoming and outgoing faxes are processed by RingCentral via the Internet: they don’t tie up your computer or phone line. No caller will ever get a engaged tone. You won’t have to wait to see if it’s transmitted. RingCentral will notify your account when the process is complete.

From Email
Send your fax from your email simply by entering the fax number in the address field and adding “@rcfax.com” Enter any text that you wish to appear on your cover page in the email’s subject field. Attach your document, and then send your email.

From your Desktop
Open your printable file, click the fax icon in the toolbar. The InternetFax tool will appear. Then fill in the boxes and send.

From any Internet Connection
Log in to your RingCentral and click the icon located at the top right of your account screen. The InternetFax tool will then appear. Afterwards, just fill in the boxes and send.

From the Call Controller
Click the InternetFax tool button on your Call Controller. Then fill in the boxes and send.

Fax-on-Demand
Simply upload the document that needs to be faxed to an extension. A prompt will ask you or your caller to enter the receiving fax number. Then enter the number and send.

Receiving Faxes
The 0800, 0845 or a Local number you get when you sign up will serve as your fax number. Incoming faxes will go into your online account and sent according to your preferences. Faxes will be stored for an unlimited time, up to 200 faxes, in your online account. All your faxes will also be stored indefinitely in your Call Controller inbox, and can be downloaded to your PC for storage.

Editing and Annotating Faxes
RingCentral InternetFax and FaxEditor tools are included in all RingCentral plans. The FaxEditor tool lets you add text and graphics or a signature, and create custom cover sheets with your personalized logo.
